Watch a Brave Soul Set the World Record for Sprinting Across LEGO Bricks Barefoot Tai Gooden | amznusa.com

When I want to wish someone bad fortune without being totally evil, my usual to-go is “I hope they step on a LEGO with their bare feet.” That’s a feeling that many of us can relate to that’s highly unpleasant and painful in a way that’s more annoying than excruciating. So, I truly don’t understand why there’s a Guinness World Record category that celebrates the person who can sprint across LEGO bricks the fastest. But, it exists and there’s a new champion. (Thanks to Laughing Squid for bringing this fun news to our attention.)

Gabrielle Wall of Christchurch, New Zealand set the Guinness World Record for the fastest 100 meter run across LEGO bricks, clocking in at a very impressive 24.75 seconds. You can check it out in the video clip below as she floats across those painful pieces with mind-blowing ease. I’m seriously worried about her poor feet, but she seems to be perfectly fine.

The course uses 661 pounds of LEGOs donated from Imagination Station, a New Zealand based non-profit that uses those infamous bricks to educate children.

One thing is for sure: I have no desire to come for her record.
