Marvel Television and Animation took over NYCC with a slate of announcements that are sparking a lot of joy for fans. The company is looking quite far into the future, as usual, and there are some fun things coming down the pipeline that we love. Marvel Zombies was a joy for us, so we are very excited that Marvel announced there will be three years of annual specials starting in 2027.
The first Marvel Zombies special will be The Winter Soldier. 2028 will bring fans The Fist of Khonshu, and 2029 will be The Last Guardian. It’s a very creative and clever way to explore this universe and its characters. Right now, there are not many details about storylines and writers for these Marvel Zombies specials. But, as we learn more, we will be happy to update you.
