Are we entering a Pirate Renaissance? No, but we might be entering a Pirates of the Caribbean Renaissance. Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom is opening its first-ever tavern based on the franchise. The park’s new themed bar, The Beak and Barrel, is based on the iconic attraction and the movie franchise it spawned. Now LEGO wants to make it so you don’t need to go to Orlando to celebrate Pirates of the Caribbean. It’ll let you do that at home with the new Captain Jack Sparrow’s Pirate Ship Set.
Don’t worry about the name. This LEGO collectible is clearly the most sought-after vessel on the high seas: The Black Pearl.

LEGO calls its new LEGO Icons Captain Jack Sparrow’s Pirate Ship a “detailed interpretation of the legendary ghost galleon” that “captures the spirit of adventure and storytelling that has captivated audiences for over two decades.” We’re sure the company’s lawyers have good reason for not outright naming it The Black Pearl, but we can. And fans of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise will certainly recognize this 2,862-piece LEGO set as exactly that.
The “Sparrah’s” LEGO ship stands nearly 13 inches tall, a whopping 25 inches long, and more than 9 inches wide. It also features “rotate dials to deploy the port or starboard cannons” and a working wheel to steer the rudder. You can also open the deck to unveil the interior captain’s quarters and separate the hull at the waterline to display the ship “in full sailing mode.” This Pirates of the Caribbean LEGO ship also comes with furnishings, candlesticks, an apple, a detachable rowboat, and a minifigure figurehead.
The collection features eight highly detailed LEGO Minifigures from the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. Go on an adventure with Captain Jack Sparrow, Will Turner, Elizabeth Swann, Hector Barbossa, Gibbs, Cotton, Anamaria, and Marty.

This big ship does have a big price tag to go with it. The Pirates of the Caribbean LEGO Icons Captain Jack Sparrow’s Pirate Ship set costs $379.99. So you best be looking for buried treasure before its available everywhere September 15, 2025.
When you finish LEGO’s The Black Pearl Captain Jack Sparrow’s Ship Set, you have one thing left to do. You can either mount it on an angled stand or leave it “in motion” in sailing mode. Don’t be fretting what choice ye make. As we enter this Pirates of the Caribbean Renaissance, we should all remember an important lesson: the whole point of being a pirate is doing what you want.
