Floki DAO Eyes Europe with Memecoin ETP Proposal Victor | amznusa.com

If the vote passes, Floki would join Dogecoin as the second memecoin to secure a registered ETP.

This would give institutional investors a new way to gain exposure to the memecoin.

The proposal, submitted on December 25, suggests allocating a portion of the DAO’s treasury—16 billion FLOKI tokens, valued at $2.8 million—to an asset manager to facilitate the launch. This move aims to bolster liquidity for the ETP, which would be listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange, the largest stock exchange in Switzerland and the third-largest in Europe.

As of now, the proposal has garnered 140 votes in favor, with no opposition. Voting remains open until December 27th, giving Floki DAO members time to weigh in. The DAO’s spokesperson noted, “The Floki ETP is currently in an advanced stage and is on track to go live in early Q1, 2025.”

While the team couldn’t share all the details due to non-disclosure agreements. They assured the community that the project would be executed in line with Floki DAO’s goals if the proposal was approved.
