We might have started testing Android 17 QPR2 beta builds earlier in the month, but Google still has to get QPR1 ready for a stable release in September. Today, Google gave us Android 17 QPR1 Beta 8 and it is available on your Pixel phone immediately.
The update is mostly minor and provides 4 noteworthy bug fixes. Google took care of an audio framework buffer management issue, another bug for the Pixel Tablet Speaker Dock, an NFC tag failure, and a a fingerprint authentication issue.
This update is available as build CP31.260623.010 for the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro up through the Pixel 10 series and Pixel 10a.
