If you love gaming with your friends, then you need a good headset that will allow you to both hear them well and be heard clearly. One of the better options on the market is HyperX’s Cloud Alpha and it’s now on sale for 40% off at Amazon: down to $120 from its regular $200.

Back when we reviewed the wired version of this headset, we gave it 4.5 stars and called it “one of the best gaming headsets for the money.” We loved how comfortable it is for long sessions and its excellent audio quality, earning our Editors’ Choice award. This sale is for the wireless version, though, so expect a few minor differences.

One such difference is the obvious lack of a cable. But you shouldn’t worry about battery life because these headphones have an incredible 300 hours of playtime per charge. Yup, not a typo—300 hours! And when time slips by and the battery finally runs out, you just use the included USB-C cable to recharge them.

Note, however, that full feature compatibility (e.g., NGENUITY EQ customization, DTS spatial audio, etc.) is only available on Windows PCs. It’ll work as a basic headset on PS4/PS5 consoles, but it won’t work at all with Xbox consoles or Nintendo Switches. It has no Bluetooth connectivity and only uses 2.4GHz wireless.

If those downsides don’t matter to you, this is a great time to buy. This is a new low price and it has never been cheaper.
