Turtle-mania is back and better than ever. We just recently got our first look at the Magic: The Gathering | Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles commander deck, and the fun doesn’t end there. Paramount is teaming up with Mattel to roll out a smorgasbord of totally tubular Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle products come 2027. Ranging from radical action figures and accessories to killer sets and accessories, it’s time to yell “cowabunga!” Hope you like mutant vigilantes, ’cause these pizza-loving, sewer-dwelling, kick-ass turtles are about to take over.
Mattel and Paramount Bring New Wave of Turtle Madness
According to the press release, the turtle takeover will include action figures, playsets, accessories, vehicles, games, collectibles, role play, and more. In addition, the collaboration pushes a new product line tagging along with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem 2 movie in 2027. The animated sequel follows Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo in a villain-forward plot. Balancing high school and their crime-fighting double life, the four face their biggest threat yet: The Shredder. Mattel will also launch a line for an untitled Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles live-action/CG animation hybrid coming in 2028.
Mattel hasn’t yet released a first look at the extensive portfolio of products, but we just know it’s going to be awesome. Roberto Stanichi, EVP and Chief Global Brand Officer of Mattel, expresses his excitement over the year-long partnership.
