Windows 11 brings big Bluetooth improvements with optional June update  | amznusa.com

If you’ve previously had problems connecting Bluetooth devices to your Windows 11 computer, those issues may now have been resolved. Windows Latest reports that Microsoft has just rolled out its biggest Bluetooth update for Windows 11.

According to Microsoft, update KB5095093 from earlier this week improves the reliability and performance of Bluetooth connections to your Windows 11 computer.

Among other things, the update is said to improve the stability of Bluetooth audio, as well as fix a common error message that appeared when trying to remove a Bluetooth device that was out of range.

In addition, connecting Apple AirPods to a Windows 11 computer should now be faster, and if you mute your microphone in Windows, the microphone on your Bluetooth headphones will also be muted.

This is an optional update, so you’ll have to manually get it if you want the improvements now, otherwise they’ll come with the Patch Tuesday update in July. You can get it via Settings → Windows Update → Advanced options → Optional updates, or you can download it via the Microsoft Update Catalog.
